Ok, so the weather may not be classifiable as cool after 11 am, but we are heading in the right direction and I'm excited!

Right now is my favorite time of year. You don't have to be a student to have fond memories of shopping for school clothes and supplies, picking out the best outfit for the first day of school and feeling that electricity in the air that cooler weather brings.

I asked my friends to share some items that remind them of back to school. For some it's a new dress or bookish cardigan while for others it's a modern take on classic school uniform pieces- a sweater vest, blazer or knee socks. Enjoy!

Blama

So I've been experiencing some blama - that's blog drama- which has resulted in me changing my blog domain to www.arklatexstyle.com!



I'm excited about this and think it will be a good thing as I expand my blog to include more local content- people, shops, home ideas, etc. So... yay!
